White Metalling

Request an estimate White metalling service for customers with older vehicles. We offer a complete white metalling service for all types and size of bearing. We are able to both cast and line bore big end, mains , shells, bushes and housings including “backing-in” and “setting the nip”.

As part of our white metal service, we pay particular attention to the final finishing of the bearings, including the radii, oil galleries and scrolls.

Using original plant and equipment, combined with skills and techniques passed down within our business, we have renewed bearings for a range of engines as diverse as an 8hp Jowett Bradford drop-sided truck, Bentley and Lanchester through to a De Havilland Gypsy Major engine from a Tiger Moth Aircraft.
